It is not a secret on who I support in this election, but it doesn't hurt to expose oneself to all the issues. I'm not a blind voter! My only gripe about this news piece is ... "why the black family gotta be low income?".. (with pursed lips).

It is evident that Joe Biden needs a new speech writer. Is he trying to sabotage his own campaign? Somebody needs to tighten him up.. in ghetto lingo.. somebody needs to "drop a dime on that nicca".. (Belly flashback).

“She’s a truly close personal friend and she is qualified to be President of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be Vice President of the United States of America and quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me,” he continued.

And lastly... more time Obama has to take out of his campaign to combat McCain's below the belt tactics.. but its all just politics!

GUILTY PLEASURES: TV EDITION

I would love to see the Nielsen ratings info for the following two shows. I just want to get an idea if I'm the target audience. I'm glued to both of these shows.. and don't think for one minute I'm proud of it. That is why this blogger has hidden her identity (HELLO!). Should I be glued to "Baldwin Hills", "New York Goes to Hollywood" or "Luke: Parental Advisory"? I can't... I even lost a little faith in my previous favorite "Run's House".. and if "Black Men Revealed" is supposed to be an honest discussion about life and relationships from a black man's perspective.. I'm running for the hills.. Speaking of The Hills..

Season after season, I threaten that this will be my last. I'm too old, and on paper.. I have nothing in common with these people.. BUT.. I can't help it. Yes.. it's highly scripted.. and the plots are somewhat trivial.. but maybe it's the thought that if I was half focused while in my 4 (okay 5) years at college, I could have the fabulous job in the fashion industry where I can hop a jet and travel to Paris, be on the guest lists at all the hot (hawt) LA parties or sit front row at New York's fashion week. Ahhh... a girl can dream can't she?


Gossip Girl - Season 2 Trailer

I can't go into detail about Gossip Girl yet. The common thread between these two shows are they are white and they are rich. Am I having a "low self esteem moment" since I am neither? Uh oh.. somebody grab a copy of "Good Times". I think I just had a breakthrough.. (my therapists would be so proud). Okay.. I'm done.. I'm emotionally drained now!

WHAT HIP HOP IS SUPPOSED TO BE...

I will not give up.. I will not relinquish my need to educate the weaker ones.. to be the beacon of light that is called true "hip hop". I won't outgrow this.. its in my blood. Swagger is earned not given. Can someone please school Flo-Rida (insert any wack rapper here)? CLASSIC!

A BIRTHDAY FOR THE QUEEN

Yes.. it is Queen B's birthday today. I have taken the day off to commerate this special event. I started the day with brushing my teeth to my Beyonce Knowles Carter playlist, headed downstairs for some breakfast and watched my "Beyonce Experience Live" DVD while toasting my frozen waffles, then going on all my favorite blog sites and posting how Beyonce should run for President in 2012. I will cap the day off by going to my local Macy's and purchasing all of the House of Dereon's clothing (cause it's so classy).

I'm sooooo kidding!

I'm still amazed that through this whole process he still can have that arrogant smirk on his face. Pride is a powerful thing. You usually don't discover that until you are out on your a**. BYE!!!



Little Brian tries to take on "Boomkat"

I knew things were going downhill when Little Brian coudn't master that "step ball change" combo. In my opinion, it is a total b*tch move to get in a shouting match on national television with a woman (if you are a male), especially if you are more famous in your own head than you are in reality. Yes, Notorious LAG is quite annoying, but I would be doing the "pop lock" in reverse motion and moon walking at the same time if I had the opportunity these guys have. Moral of the story .. SUCK IT UP or KICK ROCKS!
